Its main ingredient is shea butter, an oil extracted from shea nuts.

In its native Africa, the shea tree is sometimes called the "tree of mystery" — long believed to be nourishing to eat and to offer protection from evil. It bears fruit only about once every three years, and traditionally, only African women are permitted to harvest it, making it a rare and truly special ingredient.

And as you might imagine, Body Butter has a wonderfully rich, thick texture.

But it melts quickly with body heat — warm it in your hands and spread it over your arms or legs, and while it feels a bit oily at first, it blends in quickly, leaving skin feeling soft and plump.

Both shea butter and tea seed oil, another key ingredient in Body Butter, are rich in vitamin E and oleic acid, helping smooth the skin's texture and support its natural barrier function.
