Coupon Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)

The "Coupon Service" offered by KOTOSHINA Online Shop (hereinafter, "the Company") is a service made available only to members who have agreed to these Coupon Terms of Service (hereinafter, "these Terms"). Members shall agree in advance to both the general Terms of Service and these Terms before using the Coupon Service.


Article 2 (Issuance and Distribution of Coupons)

Coupons are issued by the Company as a benefit for members who have registered as members of this online shop and subscribed to the email newsletter. Coupons are distributed to members via the member email newsletter and similar channels, typically at the start of the month following the end of each monthly cycle, or between the 5th and 10th of the month (the exact timing varies depending on the specific coupon being distributed).


Article 3 (Use of Coupons)

  1. Coupons may be applied toward the purchase price when shopping at this online shop, subject to each coupon's specific terms of use.
  2. Each coupon is subject to its own conditions of use. Please review these conditions carefully before using a coupon.
    ・Number of uses: Each coupon code may be used once per customer.
    ・Minimum order amount: Valid only on purchases of ¥5,500 or more (tax included).
    ・Number of coupons per order: Coupons may not be combined or stacked with one another.
    ・Usage restrictions: Coupons may not be combinable with other discounts or promotions in certain cases.
  3. Details regarding each coupon can be confirmed on the site where the Company announces the coupon, or via email.
  4. The Company retains final authority over all decisions regarding coupon issuance and use.

Article 4 (Cancellation, Expiration, and Restriction of Coupon Use)

  1. Members may only use coupons within their valid period. The Company bears no responsibility if a member is unable to use a coupon due to its expiration.
  2. The Company may restrict a member's use of coupons if the member:
    ・Engages in illegal or fraudulent activity
    ・Engages in conduct that significantly damages the relationship of trust with the Company
    ・Violates the Company's stated terms or rules
    ・The Company bears no responsibility or obligation to provide compensation for any coupon it revokes.
  3. Coupons cannot be applied retroactively to an order that has already been completed. If you wish to place an order using a coupon, please cancel your original order in full and place a new order using the coupon. Please be sure to check stock availability and pricing before placing a new order.

Article 5 (Cancellations and Refunds When Using a Coupon)

  1. If an order placed using a coupon is canceled, the Company will refund the amount actually paid (i.e., the product price minus the coupon discount). Please note that coupons themselves cannot be reissued or refunded. Please confirm your purchased items carefully before using a coupon.
  2. If an order includes multiple items and only some are canceled, and the remaining total after cancellation still meets the coupon's conditions of use, the Company will refund the price of the canceled item(s).
  3. If the remaining total after cancellation no longer meets the coupon's conditions of use, the Company will refund the price of the canceled item(s) minus the coupon discount amount.

Article 6 (Prohibition on Cash Redemption)

Coupons held by members may not be exchanged for cash or refunded for any reason.


Article 7 (Prohibition on Use by Third Parties)

  1. Coupons may only be used by the member to whom they were issued, and may not be used by any third party.
  2. The right to receive a coupon belongs solely to the member to whom it was issued. Coupons may not be transferred to other members or shared between members.
  3. If the Company confirms, through its designated verification method, that the member ID and password entered at the time of coupon use match those on file, the Company will treat the use as having been made by that member. In such cases, even if the use was in fact unauthorized use by a third party, the Company will not reissue the coupon used, nor bear any responsibility for any resulting loss to the member.
  4. If a member expresses intent to transfer a coupon to a third party, the Company will not issue a coupon to that member.
  5. The Company bears no responsibility for the loss, theft, or use by a third party other than the member of any issued coupon.

Article 8 (Fraudulent Activity)

If a coupon is found to have been created, generated, or obtained through fraudulent means, the Company may invalidate the member's coupon, suspend or refuse its use, and require an alternative method of payment.


Article 9 (Loss of Membership Rights)

If a member loses their membership status, they will forfeit all coupons they hold, any right to exchange them for products, and all other rights related to use of the Coupon Service. The member shall have no claim against the Company for the loss of such rights resulting from the loss of membership status.


Article 10 (Changes to the Coupon Service)

The Company may change these Terms, the content of the Coupon Service, or the conditions under which the Coupon Service is provided, without prior notice to members, and may terminate or suspend the Coupon Service. Members agree to this in advance. The Company bears no responsibility for any disadvantage or damage a member may incur as a result of such changes.


Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

In the event of a dispute arising in connection with these Terms, the district court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall serve as the exclusive court of first instance by agreement of the parties.
