KOTOSHINA is an organic skincare brand born in Kyoto, Japan.
Founded in 2012, the brand was born from a partnership between an organic green tea garden in Uji, Kyoto, and a specialist organic cosmetics manufacturer in France, a leader in organic innovation.

Every KOTOSHINA cosmetic product is formulated with organic green tea ingredients, sourced through a partnership with an organic green tea garden in Uji, Kyoto — a region long renowned for producing exceptional, high-quality green tea. Many of our products are also formulated with natural spa water from Gamarde, France, known for its ability to support the skin's own natural healing power. This meeting of exceptional materials from Japan and France is what gave rise to the brand itself.

KOTOSHINA remains deeply committed to staying genuinely organic as we continue developing our products. Our ingredients and production processes are certified by Qualité France, a French organic certification body, and we hold the Cosmebio label. Our products are conceived in Japan and manufactured in France (with some exceptions). Packaging clearly states the percentage of naturally derived ingredients and organically farmed ingredients, ensuring what we offer is backed by a genuine, verifiable formulation — not simply an image.
